Diesel? do you get the diesel model where you are? I can't wait to try the 1.4t Manual (AWD manual abarth engined tall hatch? yes please!) and the trailhawk. I as super impressed with the cherokee trailhawk and I think this will be lots of fun to bomb around in.

that was the promise for NA was we were going to get a small VM diesel with the option of a stick. This was last year so who knows!

Sadly, you're gonna need to move to Europe for that version. They get diesel / manual / awd versions of the Renegade, as well as the Cherokee. If you're feeling trendy, you can even get a RR Evoque in that config.

I'm watching how well this is received for a possible replacement for my Liberty. My biggest concern is towing though - doesn't look like it will pull an enclosed trailer very well.
